Development Permits

Fill-in form applications do not need to be signed. We accept fully electronic submissions as long as the Applicant’s full name is typed into the form! For anyone that needs clarification on the legality of electronic signatures, contact the Town Planner for further information.

Rockingham Meeting House Rentals and Events

The Historic Rockingham Meetinghouse can be rented for weddings and other events. Download the general use policy HERE, special policies for religious services HERE, and for events with more than 100 people HERE. Download an application HERE and submit it to the Municipal Manager’s Office.

Alcohol Service and Sales Permits

Annual Alcohol permits are granted by the Town Selectboard acting as the Local Liquor Control Commission. A permit from the State is also required to serve or sell alcohol. See the Town Clerk for an application.

Parking Permits

Overnight Parking Permits in the Village of Bellows Falls are required during the winter months (Oct-April) to park overnight in the Village Parking lots. On-street overnight parking is not allowed during the winter. See the full policy HERE. Download the permit form HERE.

Municipal Entertainment Permit

All theaters, shows, moving picture shows, circuses, carnivals, menageries, concerts, entertainments, video games, plays, or exhibitions of any kind for which money is received, proposed to be conducted within the territorial limits of the Town of Rockingham, including Bellows Falls Village Corporation, shall obtain an annual license to operate.
