Fees Recycle.jpg

The Recycling Center is operated by the Town of Rockingham for residents to take recyclables and to dispose of their garbage. There is no municipal-sponsored collection of solid waste or recycling in the Town and residents are responsible to take their materials to the Center, located 1 mile south of Bellows Falls on Route 5 in the Town of Westminster. The Center is open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 8:00 am to 1 pm.

For Rockingham residents (which includes Bellows Falls and Saxtons River) there is no charge to recycle or to use the facility. There is a charge per bag of household garbage and fees for specific items and you do need a valid permit sticker. Please reference the fee schedule to the right for more detail.

For non-Rockingham residents, you can use the Recycling Center with a non-resident permit for $35 per year, plus the fees for the different types of garbage and solid waste.

You can get the permit sticker at the Town Clerk’s office or at the Recycling Center. Trash tickets are sold at the center during regular hours of operation.
